Ideas Lab is developing content for online classes targeting bachelor students from humanities. “We’ll be teaching students to think about the user experience when they design solutions”, Maria Garde says and refers to the Scandinavian Design Thinking as an overall framework for how she works with products. “I would like to give more students the methods and tools to go from idea to action. Being able to test an assumption on your end user is worth much more than you being theoretical for weeks”.
The course is 5 ECTS and will focus on tool for everything from brainstorming to prototyping and testing in a matter of few weeks, using references such as IDEO, Aarhus University and experienced minds from large design companies based in Denmark.
