INCUBATOR NEWS APRIL ’18
ABOUT TO LAUNCH
One of our young teams at Ideas Lab, Atlaga, is about to press the “release button” on their first game of the same title. The 2D experience is based on the Icelandic (where the producer is from) lands and culture established in the Viking Age, and you’ll get to experience a super interesting story and quirky universe. We can’t wait to show more, but as for now here is a sneak peak of the game:

GAMES WEEK 2018
Games Week has gone by, and what a success! Thank you to everyone involved in making this the best week of the year of the Danish game developers.
At Ideas Lab we hosted Game Dev Date Night – an event that gives teams a chance to find partners for productions and development. 40 developers came by for some “speed dating” and pizza!
Chop Chop Games had a rough week, both attending Nordic Game Jam (you basically stay up for 48 hours to make weird games), CPH MatchUp (where you meet with Publishers) and to pitch at Nordic Game Discovery Contest!
DANISH DESIGN AWARD NOMINATION
Åte VR is nominated for a Danish Design Award in the category ‘Healthy Life’ with their product Gonio VR, which focus on rehabilitation! We’ll know more about how the nominations turns out late May, but getting nominated for this is quite an honor, and we’re super proud of the team!

MANND is one of those startups you can’t miss if you’re into the VR scene in Denmark. Building new mixed reality experiences, teaching and communicating about VR as a strong communication tool is starting to turn into a profitable business only one year after starting their first company (and straight out of school, may we just add). This week MANND attended the immersive technology summit CopenX Realities to give a speak on how they use VR for very dirrerent businesses and costumers.
