    We design our gameplay to match player input with character output, focusing on immediacy and powerful audio-visual feedback.

    By designing gameplay that is faster, larger and more explosive than our competitors’, we create moments that won’t be forgotten.

    To tell stories through doing, not showing.
    We believe involvement creates stronger ties than disengagement, so having players take an active role in the story is an important aspect of our storytelling.

    To enrich and deepen our stories through world building.
    We design our worlds to be explored and investigated by crafting building blocks that support the story while easing on the narrative.

  • Our first title is named Earthshatter (wt) and it has just begun development. The project is initially self-funded with 2½ years of development secured, and funding rounds will begin as soon as it becomes viable.
    We plan to reach for an audience along the way, and create a community that is involved in the development by playtesting the game.
    We also plan to release demos and an early access version, along with a public roadmap.

  • Starsight Games is currently a one-man operation run by Founder & CEO Peter Schmidt:

    “To be completely transparent, the decision to represent Starsight Games as we rather than I is made with the intention of representing the team I wish to build, instead of the solo-endeavor I am in the process of expanding.”

  • Starsight Games is a newly founded studio which will officially be incorporated as an ApS company in early 2024.
    Two co-founders are being sought to join the journey and the development of our first title.

    The following key roles are open to co-founders:

    Technical Lead
    This role requires programming experience with Unreal Engine, or similar programming experience and a willingness to learn Unreal Engine.

    Art Lead
    This role requires experience with 3D modeling and animation.
